Welcome
to Salt of the Earth, LLC (SOTE). We are a group of
ranchers who realize the value of and market for grass
only cull cows. Three years ago we started Salt of the
Earth, LLC with a mission to become the solution for
ranchers and producers to finally make a profit from
their cull cows. |

|
| SOTE
is conducting feasibility studies on multiple value
added products such as sausages, pre-seasoned taco meat,
and hot dogs. We anticipate collecting data from these
studies for approximately 1 year. We will use the data
from our online survey to show our marketing investors
that we have enough interset to make our business plan
a reality. |
|
SOTE needs your help in providing us
with information to build this business. Please take
a minute to fill out our survey with this vital data.
Your information will not be shared. It will be kept
in a database along with other producers until we finish
the data collecting phase. It will be pooled with data
from other producers. Only the pooled results will be
shown to potential marketing and producer partners.
Thank you in advance for your survey submission. With
your support we can build an enterprise that will benefit
you, other producers and consumers for years to come."

A NOTE FROM
SOTE
"It is SOTE's objective to return a significant
premium to producers. Please note, however, that with
fluctuating markets and different grades and classes
of cattle not all premiums will be equal." |

"I have been interested in
the concept of marketing my cows thru SOTE since
I heard of them a couple years ago. I had the
opportunity to send a load of cull cows for SOTE
to Omaha in the middle of June. I was interested
in how my price per head would compare to sending
them to my local sale yard so I weighed everything
before loading them on the truck. I sent a load
of like cows into sale yard on the same day. I
was pleased to find that I made an additional
$.11/pound thru SOTE. The process was done in
a professional manner and my check arrived promptly.
I hope to send another load in the near future
and would recommend this option to anyone that
has cows to market." |
